Since our first trip across the country to California to record a demo in the summer of 2004, we've put many, many, many thousands of miles on our trusted four wheel travel companion, Murdoch. Many of you recognize Murdoch and know what it's like to pull into a venue and see that old silver fox parked there, its presence letting you know that the boys of HBA will be there again with you that night.

Through these last years Murdoch has shepherded us safely to and from your towns and favorite venues, big and small, all over the country countless times. But as with any aging workhorse, the time comes when you have no choice but to move on...

The growth of the band has been a remarkable thing to be part of, but it inevitably means that changes have to be made to keep things moving and harness the forward momentum. We've realized that Murdoch is no longer able to handle the growing needs and rigors of the road for the band. We need something more.

After months and months of searching for the right next step, we've finally selected the appropriate vehicle and identified how we need to modify it to make it work for the growth of HBA. Now we need your help to make it a reality.

The Bus Drive is our campaign to find the resources to make this happen. If you are one of the many who stand with us and support what Honor By August stands for, or have a special relationship with the music -- or even if you just find yourself humming along from time to time -- please consider giving, alone or as part of a group, to the Drive.
